Magazine Advertisement Design

smart USA, a division of Mercedes-Benz, had an idea for a full page spread in a national magazine. Their goal was to show the benefits of the compact car as it is able to successfully navigate any road. Instead of a series of aerial photographs requiring extensive set-up and expenses, smart USA commissioned Vim to develop the scenes for the advertisements in a very realistic series of 3D models.

Step 1 3D Modeling and Texturizing

Before design, it was important to nail down the layout and accurately capture the compact vehicles in 3D models.

Step 2 Scene Design

Upon completion of the models, Vim designed the scenes and 3D models used for the magazine advertisement.
