Module Settings

EZ Link Icons is divided into three parts: (1) EZ Home, (2) Options and (3) Reset.

EZ Home

Toggle icon visibility

Activate only the icons you want by placing a checkmark next to their row. Turn all icons completely on or off by clicking the column header.

Edit icon size

Type in the number of pixels you want your icon to be. So if you enter the icon will be 16 pixels by 16 pixels in size.

Change (or reset) icon images

Click the Change link to upload your own icon image or choose Reset to restore that particular row to its default settings.

Specify the file extensions to target

Whichever 3 or 4-letter file extensions are typed into this field will be preceeded with the icon shown for that row. Add multiple file extensions by separating each with a dash (-).

Options

The Options screen allows you to do two pretty slick things:

1. Change the CSS prefix for rules:
   For example, the default CSS prefix for the Adobe Acrobat icon is a.eli-pdf. If you're already using the prefix "eli-" in your CSS rules, type in the prefix you want EZ Link Icons to use
2. Bypass adding icons:
   If you don't want an anchor tag to be preceded by an icon, add class="no-icon" inside the anchor tag. An example link for a PDF file would look like this: a class="eli-pdf no-icon" href="test.pdf". You can also change the class name for this feature.

Reset

1. Click the Reset button from the EZ Home screen
2. Click the Reset button from the pop-up window to restore EZ Link Icons to its default settings
