EZ Link Icons automatically prepends icons to the file and external links of your choice making it easier for users to recognize the files they’re downloading. You can choose the size and image you use for each link type.

It’s a great tool for reducing guesswork and increasing the usability of your site’s linking structure. Another great feature is the icons are added to your links before they are sent to the browser. So unlike using JavaScript to accomplish this, you don't get a flicker on load.
