Vim Interactive is an interactive agency/software development shop based just outside of Baltimore with offices in Washington, DC. We work with impressive clients spanning the board: Fortune 100 companies, top-tier academic institutions, international non-profits, and hungry start-ups pursuing VC funding or have received funding. We've built award-winning digital campaigns for the likes of Marriott, Johns Hopkins University, and United Nations.

We're hiring a senior level web/php developer to work in our Baltimore office (full-time). 

The ideal candidate would be:

• Exceptional in translating functional requirements and high-fidelity prototypes/wireframes into highly functioning, web apps, mobile sites, websites and mobile apps;
• Multi-faceted who knows about (and has extensive experience coding with) PHP (CodeIgniter), SQL, Javascript (jQuery) and has an understanding of server (LAMP-stack) technologies; and,
• Passionate about clean code, usability standards, and web technologies and knows what MVC means.

Other requirements:

• Be fun! We're casual and fun-loving - anyone that is brought on would need to have a sense of humor and have a glowing personality! 
• Be a team player! You'll need to seamlessly interact (by turning your swivel chair around) with our IA/UX team, design team and clients during on-site meetings
• Be experienced! Unfortunately, we're not in a position to hire anyone new to development. No set number of years or academic background, more concerned with your portfolio and working knowledge with PHP, SQL and the CodeIgniter framework
• Be on-site! Working from home is fine some time but, we'll need you to collaborate and code greatness from our Baltimore location
